Today, we hear from Hope Helgren, one of our happy customers who left our shop with a fixed bike and a big smile…
“At first I just wanted to see what they were all about, thinking they were painting yellow bikes to place all over the city…”
How did you first hear about SFYBP?
When the back tire of my bike got stolen, I needed to look into inexpensive options for a new bike. I didn’t want to spend more than $200 and when I did an online search of bike shops in the area, I came across SFYBP. At first I just wanted to see what they were all about, thinking they were painting yellow bikes to place all over the city…
Describe your first experience at SFYBP? What made it particularly memorable?
When I first walked into SFYBP, I met Nathan, who right off the bat was completely helpful and honest. After talking with him, I decided to get my current bike fixed, rather than buying a completely new one. It was clear that they knew what they were talking about and genuinely wanted to provide me with the best bike option for me, without any other agenda. I could have spent forever in there!
In three words, how would you describe the SFYBP team?
Knowledgeable, Caring and Helpful.
Who would you recommend SFYBP to?
Anyone looking for a bike for a great deal; someone who is just getting started biking in the city or needs a fix, fit or random new piece.
What makes SFYBP unique?
Its mission to simply get more people on bikes and to show how beyond physical exercise, biking can lead to personal growth and just by biking around, you can see different views of how the city functions. I have complete trust in the team at SFYBP; their knowledge blew me away.
