Reused & Recycled Parts

The SFYBP community shop is a warehouse of used and reusable parts available for a donation. Community members are welcome to come to the shop during business hours to get a hands-on bike maintenance tutorial by our volunteers. We also have a limited supply of new parts, such as inexpensive tires, tubes, chains, and brake/gear housing and inner wire. This program diverts salvageable bike parts from landfills into safe, rideable bikes. Unusable parts are then sorted for the appropriate recycling stream.
