MBS in the wild!!
We brought the beast out to Sunnyside Elementary School's
Bike to School Day & Festival. This was our 3rd bike swap we've held there and as usual, it was a blast. Students and families were able to trade their old bike for a new-to-them bike. We also brought several of our ready-to-ride kids and adult bikes, all of which were available for sale.

Allowed full use of the lane
Many of the kids were SUPER excited to have us there and wanted to learn as much about their bikes as they could. This young girl wanted to learn how to tune up her own bike!
Learning how to pump up her tires.
Y-Bike was there with their Bike Rodeo and all the kids were bananas on the school yard!!
Many of the kids wanted their training wheels off. This young man wanted them off, like NOW.
You're not doing it fast enough, lady. Here, let me help.
And despite his look of apprehension, about 4.3 seconds after this photo was taken he was riding around the yard with a truly joyful smile.
My favorite moment of the day was when we were chatting with Emily, a parent who we've helped before and she asked what our MBS was. As I explained she realized she had donated to our Groupon campaign when we were fundraising for the MBS. It was very cool to be able to show Emily firsthand where her donation went and how we were using it.
Discussing tire pressure.
Helmet fit and safety.
Our resident artist was designing a safety poster for us. We will have to hang it in the shop because it is just too darn cute!!
This bike was made for her!!
In the end we traded/sold over 13 bikes, took off 4 pairs of training wheels, fixed 6 bikes, and helped every single one of those kids smile. What better way to end the school year and start your summer?
