We’re all super excited to announce we will be hosting our first 2014 Children’s Bike Extravaganza on Saturday, April 12 from 12-5 p.m. PT at the SF Rec & Park Tenderloin Children’s Playground (570 Ellis at Hyde).
The event focuses on serving community families through bike giveaways, safety lessons and maintenance skills workshops. We will be provide hands-on mechanical and educational sessions teaching families the basics of bike maintenance and care. If you haven’t seen it yet, this would be a great opportunity to check out our Mobile Bike Shop in action!
We will also be hosing a bike swap where bikers can trade in old bikes and parts. Attendees should feel free to bring in their kids’ bikes, in whatever condition. This will be an opportunity to trade up for a proper sized bike after the child outgrows the old one.
